Bildeston War Memorial
The Memorial names 17 men lost in WW1 and 5 lost in WW2 which differs by one from the memorial in the church which only names four. The missing name is that of John S. SABINE (DFC).

The Crown Inn High Street
A Grade II* merchants house from 1495 that has been an Inn at least since the mid 17th century. The Inn was renovated in 2003 and it was reportedly refitted and Bar moved in 2005. Various documents and directories include the following, 1830 William Gooch, 1839-1865 John Edwards, 1869 Mrs Catherine Edwards, 1874 Joshua Heath, 1874 Mrs Helena Heath, 1884 Benjamin Bantock, 1891-1900 William Sidney, 1912 unable to locate in Kelly’s, 2016 Chris and Hayley Lee returned having been there up to 2013.
