Kersey Mill - hurst frame
This mill has 6 pairs of stones arranged as three either side of a long hurst frame with layshaft drive. This side is unrestored and had been driven by a steam engine that was removed long ago. The other side is restored and can be driven by the waterwheel.

Kersey Mill - pit wheel
This is on the waterwheel shaft and engages with a spur gear to drive the layshaft operating three sets of stones. This has all been restored. This is the only view I could get on this particular gear.

Kersey Mill - wire machine
A disused flour dresser in one corner of the ground floor. There is also a large centrifugal dresser nearby that used a cloth sieve although the cloth is no longer there (probably rotted away). This excellent mill was open for National Mills Open weekend and was well worth incorporating in a two day trip.
