The Old Drift House, The Green
Built in the height of the wool trade Old Drift House was originally a single storey hall house but with the exception of the kitchen, was replaced some time in the 1500's. It was restored by Phil Darby in 1974 and has possibly the oldest surviving wattle and dorb chimney in the country. The Grade II Listed building was featured in the BBC Television programme Lovejoy and is currently (2013) a 5 star self catering accommodation winning awards in 2009 and 2010.
