Old wall by path up from river, Hadleigh
This may be the ancient wall east of Toppesfield Hall which is a grade II listed building - 16th and 17th centuries and later in red brick. The trouble is, it is supposed to have lozenges at the base in dark red brick, I did not notice these here, or anywhere.
