The sign marking the start of High Street can be seen to the left. The road becomes Stowmarket Road heading northwest. A footpath leads through to Hurstlea Road. It was a cold morning after overnight snow.

Ice rose (3)
An amazing sight at my front door - an icicle strewn rose bush including two encased flowers. The ice was dripping rapidly, although generally only a slow thaw seems to be in progress. Update Oct '10 - the rose has flowered well this year, so suffered no long term harm.....
