The Golden Hind pub, Gainsborough, Ipswich
The Golden Hind is one of the ornate pubs built in the 1930s by brewery Tolly Cobbold drawing on the architecture of the brewery owner's house at Helmingham Hall and referred to as 'Tolly Follies'. The Golden Hind was built in 1936 to serve the newly constructed Gainsborough Estate. It has 11 ornate chimneys and a spired clock tower.
