Western Way West
This little stub off the main part of Western Way houses a dairy at the end of the road, the former Miro Press printers and a company that puts the glossy lamination on cardboard products (remember LP sleeves?)

Havebury Housing, Western Way West
The striking post-2000 building houses the organisation that now runs Bury St. Edmunds' former council housing. The south wall has a spaced off set of moving shutters to control the light and heat to the building.

New Asda store starts to take shape, Bury St Edmunds
Having demolished the Pioneer store on the site (see previous photos) the new Asda starts to take shape in Western Way, Bury St Edmunds (not Westley as reported by the gazetteer). Structural steelwork usually seems to be rust or red oxide paint coloured - I like the white.
The slight vignetting is due to security fencing.

Pioneer store Bury St. Edmunds - last view
Built as the Co-Op bakery this building became Leos supermarket, then Pioneer, before being empty for many years. Demolition started 19th August 2008 ready to build a new Asda store. As a fence is being erected this may be the last chance to see it.
