The Gaff
The former Ipswich Arms pub at the bottom of Station Hill Bury St.Edmunds now called The Gaff.

The Gaff, unusually shaped pub
This pub, number 1 Tayfen Road, on the corner of Station Hill (on the left), is shaped as a segment, around 90 degrees, of a circle. The brickwork with much use of half bricks, is very unusual too. Built in 1857 it has also been called Segment and was the Ipswich Arms until late 2007. CAMRA dismisses it as only offering 'fizz'.
Update: In August 2009 it became Bar Curvo.

Yet another name for the curved pub
There seems to be a rule that the name of this place changes every year or so. So this week it is The Beerhouse. There are four former names in the caption for Image
Station Hill was closed at the time of the photo for the creation of a new pedestrian crossing.
