Great Ashfield All Saints church
Above the plain parapet on the top of the tower is a distinguishing spirelet. The porch is built with 16th c. Tudor red brick and has flint flushwork panels and crow-step gable. Some early 13th c. wall remains between the pillars of the north aisle arcade. The nave roof is a simple arch-braced type. The finely carved pulpit is unusually square, standing on cushion feet with the original back and sounding board, dated 1619. The holy table bears the same date, and the same style is reflected in the reredos.
