View of Pakenham Windmill from St Mary's church tower Ixworth
The church tower is not normally open to the public, and once you've climbed the steep spiral staircase the walls are so high you need a step-ladder to see over them. However the views are unique, no other building is as high or as centrally positioned in the village.
