The Woolpack, Fornham St Martin
This large pub on the B1106 is owned by Greene King, in common with many others in the Bury St Edmunds area. The building dates from the late 19th century although it is known that there has been an inn on this site for more than three centuries.

The Memorial has 14 names but the Roll of Honour in the church names one other. WW1 Casualties: C. ASHMAN, W. BRIDGES, F.J. CALVER, I.D. LAUGHTON, J.W. DEVEREUX, W.C. FEAKES, C.H. FEAKES, S. GIBBS, W.J. GIBBS, M.K. HODGSON, M.R.K. HODGSON, J.A. PAWSEY, N. SELBY, S.F. WARD. C.J. WALTON (not on Memorial but included on the RoH). The WW2 Casualty was Archibald TAYLOR.
