Victorian houses on Nacton Road
The houses were built on the northern side of Nacton Road near the junction with Clapgate Lane in the late 1800s and looked out over green fields until the construction of the Gainsborough Estate in the early 1930s.

Woodland Verge
This rather lovely narrow woodland-like strip is a feature of Clapgate Lane and Nacton Road in Ipswich. Houses on the south side have a narrow service road, and are set quietly away from the traffic. Rather like a linear park. compare Image] taken a couple of yards away.
