Un-named stream by Brook Green, Hawstead
This unnamed stream is a tributary of the River Lark, which it joins about a kilometre to the North. On Feb. 7th. 2014 it was in full spate going under Bells Lane after heavy rain the night before.

Hawstead Village Green with Hall and play area
Hawstead's new Village Hall was opened in 2008. There is a fenced play area nearby; to the right we can see converted barns which are on the other side of the road to Bury St. Edmunds.
