Totem pole, Nowton Park
This tree was storm damaged and dying. Rather than removing it, it was decided to have it carved as a Totem pole it is 35.4 feet (10.8m) tall and carved from a western red cedar

Carved dragon, Nowton Park
Apparently this has not been photographed for Geograph since March 2008. Image In the intervening years the dragon has lost its tail and some of its facial features. It would seem to be beyond restoration now.
