Mini cliff near Denham Castle
Initially I thought this little cliff was entirely man made but then I realised it had exposed sedimentary layers. It could still have been cut by man, but it is not evident why anyone would do that.

Fields near Denham Castle
The little white specs in the distance on the right are deer, demonstrating surprisingly poor camouflage. This is a deer farm. http://www.denhamestate.co.uk/home.htm

Houses and orchard near Denham Castle
In the distance, in another square, the village of Barrow extends across the horizon. The dark hedgeline splitting the two very large deep green fields hides a tumulus mound.
The orchard was actually full of hundreds of sheep and lambs but they were very shy and ran when I approached.
