Railway sidings at Ipswich Station
The line nearest the camera serves Platform 4 at Ipswich Station. Beyond that are the sidings used for locomotive stabling by the Freightliner company. As can be seen, two of the sidings have overhead electrification for use by the company's electric locomotives. Beyond the railway land can be seen the trees growing on the slope of Stoke Hill.

Ipswich or Stoke Tunnel, station end
The 330 m long tunnel was completed in 1846. The track was lowered through the tunnel in 2004 to give clearance for trains carrying large size containers.
