Safety Demo
This is UK Power Networks safety roadshow (here for one day only) http://www.ukpowernetworks.co.uk/internet/en/safety/ . The dummy power pole includes pyrotechnics to give an impression of the troubles in store for anyone foolish enough to work too close to electric wires without taking the correct precautions. Also on display were examples of tools left behind by people who had tried to "liberate" the metal in the cables. One example was a hand-axe with a rather large melted notch in the blade and the shadow of burned hands on the handle.

The bridge at Santon Downham, nr Thetford, Norfolk
The bridge at Santon Downham may seem familiar to viewers of the Dad's Army TV series. It featured in an episode when the platoon, dressed in firemen's uniforms, crossed the bridge on board a vintage fire engine. Most of the location scenes were shot in Norfolk, and in the Thetford area in particular.
