A rare Crimean War headstone
This is a rare headstone to George Rowland, a soldier of the Crimean War. He served in the Royal Horse Artillery as a Driver. Unfortunately the stone is covered in lichen and eroded and parts including the date of his death are indecipherable.

Great Cressingham War Memorial
The memorial bears the names of the twelve names lost to the village in World War One. No losses are recorded for WW2. Also in the churchyard is a rare headstone to George Rowland, a soldier of the Crimean War. He served in the Royal Horse Artillery as a Driver. Unfortunately the stone is covered in lichen and eroded and parts are indecipherable. It can be seen here >
