Thetford Goods Shed
A view of the old goods shed which handled the odd bit of freight until the 1980s. Unfortunately all looking a bit uncared for like the 1845 station.

Old goods shed, Thetford
This decaying building stands by the railway just west of Thetford station. The occasional wagon was still handled at Thetford until the 1980s, but freight trains only pass through nowadays.

Thetford Signal Box
Thetford’s Grade II listed Signal Box is a standard Great Eastern Railway type, built in 1883 (but no longer in use). Ashley Dace’s Image] shows the box in 2010. The colour-light signal replaces the semaphores shown in Stephen McKay’s Image] (2009). It looks as if an incorrect apostrophe has been expunged from the notice.
