St Andrew's church
St Andrew's church > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1708439 was greatly restored in Victorian times and the only medieval survival is the C14 traceried octagonal font > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1708478. The royal arms > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1708484 has been overpainted and is believed to have originally been for Charles I. The east window is by William Wailes. Outside, the C16 wood-framed porch > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1708455 with carved spandrels is still standing on the north wall. The church houses an interesting monument commemorating Prince Frederick Victor Duleep Singh > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1708470.

Blo Norton St Andrew's church
Apart from the overhead wires, this is a lovely village church with a lot of history old and new-ish. His Highness Prince Frederick Victor Duleep Singh, MVO, was buried here in August 1926. The Royal Arms are a rare William and Mary.
