Fressingfield St Peter and St Paul?s church
This is the birth and resting place of William Sancroft, 1693, Archbishop of Canterbury. His tomb is on the south side of the church. This is a fine example of a church built on the strength of the wool trade. The porch has beautifully executed flushwork with eight niches set into the walls and with a parvise above. At the east end of the nave roof is the finest example of a Sanctus bell turret in the county.

'The Fox & Goose Inn' at Fressingfield
This was once the Hall of the Guild of St. Margaret of Antioch and remained in that use until the abolition of the Guilds. It was built in 1509 and is a fine example of a brick and timber building. It became an overflow for the poorhouse, and a school, until it was first used as a public house in 1710 and became the Fox and Goose in 1791.
