Southwold Pier
The pier was built in 1900, it was T-shaped and 810 feet long. In 1934 the T-shaped end was swept away by a gale. By 1979 its length had been reduced to approximately 100 feet. However modern restoration has replaced the T-shape and created a structure 623 feet in length.

No Smoking Picture on the Pier
By the entrance to Southwold Pier. This is a mobile picture in two stages. Here we see the smoker puffing away and everyone else looking fed up. Then it changes and the smoker has stopped and looks grumpy while the others start being cheerful. More fun than a lot of the stuff on TV.
