Old Milestone by the A12, north east of Yoxford
Metal plate attached to stone post by the A12, in parish of YOXFORD (SUFFOLK COASTAL District), Cockfield Hall Lodge, in verge, on North side of road. Garrett face iron casting, erected by the Ipswich to South Town, & Darsham to Bungay turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-

Carved benchmark and rivet on top of stone.
