Very similar to my view of 1983. A little tidier perhaps.

Cornish boiler of 1851.
Until recently an 1852 Cornish was workable at Combe in Oxon. That is now being retained as a museum piece while steam is raised in a modern boiler.

Webb & Son (Combs) Ltd, Combs Tannery
This tannery had a long disused grasshopper beam engine that is now in store at the Museum of East Anglian Life. I believe the tannery has now gone.

Grasshopper beam engine, Webbs Tannery
Built 1851 by W P Wilkins of Ipswich. Actually sits on top of the boiler setting - most unusual. It had a new cylinder in 1904 and the old one was lying nearby. This engine is now in store at the Museum of East Anglian Life.
