Framlingham town sign
The sign is surmounted by the name and below, shows the castle for which the town is renowned with the church of St Michael. Beneath the castle is one of two of the oldest pillar boxes in the country still in use, dating from 1856. In the centre is the armorial crest of Framlingham and on the right is the parish pump with its two spouts. At the bottom is an image of ducks swimming on Framlingham Mere.
