Earl Soham St Mary?s church
The tower has three canopied niches on its western face as you approach the church. Above the south porch door there is a stone figure on the gable and a carving of a lion immediately below; and beneath that, an inscription. The church is beautifully kept with a wealth of wood-carving to enjoy.
