Old Milestone by the B1438, Yarmouth Road, Ufford
Metal plate attached to concrete post by the B1438 (was A12), in parish of UFFORD (SUFFOLK COASTAL District), North end of Ufford, by Hill Farm, in pavement, back to brick wall, on West side of road. Page & Girling iron casting, erected by the Ipswich to South Town, & Darsham to Bungay turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:- : YARMOUTH / 43 / SAXMUNDHAM / 9 : : UFFORD / TO / LONDON / 80 : : IPSWICH / 11 / WOODBRIDGE / 3 : : PAGE & GIRLING / MELTON :
