St Mary, Walton
The original church was derelict in the 19th Century and was rebuilt by Frederick Barnes between 1857-67.

The Memorial Vestry at Walton St. Mary's church
The vestry foundation was laid and the vestry built in 1949 as a memorial to those who died and thanksgiving for the safe return of approximately 700 others who served during WW2. The names of the 44 men can be seen inside the vestry. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4622609
