The boating lake near to Felixstowe Leisure Centre, with part of the pier to the right. Planners, it seems, are looking at the cost of a number of different options to smarten up Felixstowe's derelict boating lake area ready for this summer. Felixstowe Futures, which is co-ordinating the regeneration of the resort's seafront, is attempting to find a low-cost temporary solution that will not interfere with the longer term proposals for the seafront.
