Approaching Trimley Station
An Ipswich - Felixstowe train approaches Trimley over the level crossing. The other line here is for freight trains only giving access to Felixstowe North Terminal.

Level Crossing, Trimley Station
This road serves Searson's Farm and the houses south of the railway line. This is a busy crossing with the mixture of the hourly passenger services and the container trains serving Felixstowe Docks and has full-width barriers. Pedestrians can avoid the crossing altogether by using the station footbridge, the steps of which can be seen on the left of the crossing.

Container train heads towards the Port of Felixstowe
A container train, hauled by Freightliner class 66 66590, has just come off the single line section between Westerfield and Trimley and is passing over the level crossing and through the disused platform at Trimley station as it takes the line into the western end of the Port of Felixstowe freight loop.
