Panorama from Fencepiece Road
While it doesn't look like it from the image, today has been a very bright, clear, sunny day, although it was a little hazy on the horizon. This is a view looking south-southeast down Fencepiece Road towards Barkingside and Fairlop from its junction with Manor Road.

Fencepiece Road
A typical Epping Forest road scene here - tree-lined, houses set back from the road with long driveways and relatively narrow and quiet roads. It really is a lovely area to live - if you can afford it, that is! Houses here generally sell for at least a hundred thousand, so you really have to be earning something to be able to live here! New pelican crossing on Fencepiece Road
A new pelican crossing has been erected but is not yet active on Fencepiece Road just as you cross the boundary from Redbridge into Epping Forest. Also in this shot is another grand Epping Forest concrete lamp post, albeit with a more modern low pressure sodium lantern than the one shown here: Image

New apartments are under construction at the junction of Fencepiece Road and Manor Road at the top of this hill on Fencepiece Road. Certainly a stark contrast to the 1950s/60s houses and lamp posts which dominate this street! View taken looking north-northeast up the hill on Fencepiece Road.
