Formerly a farmhouse. It has a Venetian window at the front, and also in the gable. The attached cottage might be older. There is also a building with ventilators on the roof, possibly built as a workshop.

A bridge here led to Scarbottom Mill, but has evidently been completely reconstructed to give access to The Brook (housing estate).
