Remains of Hollings Mill
This flat-roofed building at right angles to the road seems to be all that remains of Hollings (or Hollins) Mill, a former cotton mill. The rest of the site is now in other commercial uses.

Cycle route to Sowerby
The signage directs cyclists along what looks like a rather unpromising path round the back of a contractor's yard, but it does lead to a bridge over the river and on the other side up to Sowerby village.
