The western end of Wharf Street, Sowerby Bridge
The street sign on the right marks the change to Town Hall Street. The chimney was for the Carlton Mill behind it. On the right is a 19C building with shops flanking a central doorway that led through to Sowerby Bridge Mills behind.

Sowerby Bridge Mills from the east
This is the 'best' side of the building, with a little gable in the centre. It is now converted to apartments, like most of the mill buildings around here. The passage leads to the next yard, and also preserves the old packhorse route through the town.
