Sowerby Bridge FP100, Link A, passing houses at Upper Field House
This building is listed, Grade II. The details state that it was probably built in the early 17C, but was much altered in the 19C when it was converted to eight back-to-back cottages. These are now four through terrace houses.

There is an old, faded, 'Beware of the Bull' sign on the gate, which hopefully no longer applies.

Sowerby Bridge FP100, Link B
The path is to the left of the sheep 'feeding station', not alongside the wall. It leads to a council housing estate in the built-up area of Sowerby.

Presumably the new gate is too wide for the original gateway.

Daft sheep on Sowerby Bridge FP100, Link A
When I appeared, walking alongside the wall past the gateway, the sheep came hurrying out (Image]) and went to their empty feeding trough. The mums walked off in disgust, but some of the lambs had their heads down in the trough.

Young sheep near Upper Field House
When they saw me (on Soerby Bridge FP100, Link A) they immediately started coming towards me. It turned out that they thought I was going to put food in their trough.
