Cross Street green
This little fenced off area really caught my eye. The 4 Copper Beech trees, the benches and the old fashioned metal fencing around this grassy area provide a pleasing open aspect for the residents of Cross Street. It looks in keeping with the area. It could all so easily contain yet another house. I know that there is already a photograph of this location, but it really appeals to me.

James Street, Holywell Green, Stainland
To the north of Station Road there is a 19C development built on a grid pattern. This terrace of houses looks to have been better than average, with elaborate window and door heads, and unusual bay windows projecting only a small amount with no windows in the sides.

Back street, Holywell Green, Stainland
This is between Station Road and James Street. An old-fashioned cobbled back street with washing lines across it.
