Prospect Mill, West Vale
Former woollen mill that was steam powered by a 800 horsepower engine until 1970. The engine and chimney are both gone. The opposite pediment has the mill's name and date - 1883.

North Dean Mill, West Vale
The date stone is 1876 and the building in front was probably the mill office. This is (as taken) an unrestored Yorkshire woollen mill that retains its majesty in dirty clothes. Sadly, all the local mills have lost their chimneys.
