Old milestone
On Bradford Road, Northowram behind lamppost 39. One of the 615 milestones set up in 1893/4 for the West Riding CC. This one has lost its protruding metal attachment showing the substantial 15cm deep stone. The legends would have been Bradford 6 Miles, Halifax 2 Miles with Bradford and Halifax Road, Northowram on the top.

Hough Mills, Bradford Road, Northowram
Still in use for industry, although I notice that it is for sale. Sorry about the shadow, the camera went on strike when I went further away and tried to use the telephoto; too cold for the battery, I think.
