Square Park - Akroydon (model village)
View towards Ripon Terrace. The west entrance is one of four centrally positioned along the four sides of Square Park. Previously each entrance had an iron gate which only local residents were at liberty to unlock - each resident having their own key.

Back Ripon Terrace viewed from corner of 1 York Terrace - Akroydon (model village)
The walling, iron railings and the garage wall (right) are recent additions. These contrast with both the Victorian terrace and the old out-building in the yard, the doors of which enclosed two dustbins on the left and an outside lavatory on the right (now partly blocked-off at the base).

Roof-scape of York Terrace - Akroydon (model village)
The roof-scape is of No1 to No8. Seven chimney-stacks served the eight homes in this block of terraced houses. The double chimney-stack in the centre served No4 and No5.
The original Victorian stone mullioned windows remain at No1.
