Bus stop and shelter, Springwood Avenue off Copley Lane
This seems an odd position for the shelter, as from it you can’t see buses coming up from the Copley crossroads. The houses are on the site of a Free United Methodist chapel. All that remains of it is the wall with shaped coping stones. You can see how this was joined onto the older field wall along Copley Lane.

Copley Lane bridge
The bridge carries Copley Lane over the Halifax-Manchester railway line Image The road sign calls it "Copley Bridge" but that name properly belongs to the railway bridge over the Calder nearby Image
"Slow", "Give Way" and "Pedestrian Priority" signs all encourage motorists to be cautious.
