McVities factory, Kingston Mills, Hopwood Lane, Halifax
The company, now part of United Biscuits, began in Scotland but took over Riley’s toffee works on this site which was founded c.1907, The present buildings are obviously more recent. It now makes cakes as well as well known biscuits such as Hobnobs and Digestives.
