Footpath 755 approaching Heath Road, Skircoat, Halifax
This path is in a cutting here, to avoid a steep gradient, and was a driveway to the rear of Halifax Royal Hospital. It is known as 'Dead man's alley' as it was the route taken to take away bodies from the mortuary (now a residence) at the top of the drive.
