Reconstructed Commonwealth window, Halifax Minster
This is the large west facing window in the tower. Halifax Minster has a number of windows dating from the Commonwealth period (1649-1660). These are of plain glass with intricate geometric designs. This window is apparently late 19th century reconstruction of a window dating from 1657, which contains no original work. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halifax_Minster
