It took longer than anticipated to locate Philip Larkin's grave as the other photo on Geograph makes the headstone look much bigger!

Philip Larkin's grave at Cottingham (I)
Not son, librarian, poet or misanthrope... but "writer". Though originally from Coventry, he is often thought of as Hull's own poet laureate. He was the head librarian at Hull University from 1955 until his death in 1985...
