North Cave Lake
The photo was taken in 1984 at a Scout County Camp in the village of North Cave when the local land owner (the then Scout County Commissioner) allowed competitive model boat racing on the lake as an activity!

Tight corner in North Cave B1230
Restrictions on large vehicles and sat navs sending people via South Cave to get to the A63/ M62 but still North Cave is a rat run to and from the motorway. This house stands right on the tight corner junction of Church Street and Westgate both of which are the B1230. The plaque above the window says, Constabulary Station

On the house at the corner of Church Street and Westgate. The East Riding of Yorkshire Constabulary was formed in 1856 in 1968 it merged with York and the North Riding force, in 1974 it became Humberside
