The Old Hall, Kirk Ella
Built in about 1760. Kirk Ella was a favoured retreat for Hull merchants and the Old Hall was among the first of many grand houses which have been built here over the last two and a half centuries.

The former Vicarage, Kirk Ella
Built in 1839 and designed by H.F. Lockwood. Thirty years ago I was interviewed for a job here (which though offered I didn't take up). All I can remember was that it seemed a particularly gloomy house.
