Willowglen Road Stornoway

Lews Castle Bayhead Gateway and Lodges Stornoway
Category B listed gateway and lodges to Lews Castle probably designed by Charles Wilson in mid 19th century, the castle being built 1847-1854. In 1923 Lord Leverhulme gifted Lews Castle and 64,000 acres of land to the people of Stornoway and the Stornoway Trust was established to manage the estate.

Porters Lodge
Porters lodge used to be the main entrance to Lews Castle and the estate. Now it's purely decorative but it was inhabited by a family up until the 1950's.
