Ledbury Station
View westward, towards Hereford ahead, with branch from Gloucester joining on left; Great Western main line, Worcester - Hereford. The locomotive, a Class 57XX 0-6-0 Pannier Tank, has just run round its train from Gloucester (at the Down platform) and will work it back; the Gloucester service ceased on 13/7/59, with complete closure of the Dymock - Ledbury section, goods trains Gloucester - Dymock lasting until 1964. The station is about a mile from Ledbury town.

Grade II listed Station House, Ledbury
The house was probably built at the same time as the adjacent railway station, which opened in September 1861. Station House was Grade II listed in November 1976. In the corner facing the camera is a bright red bicycle http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3472362 advertising Ledbury Cycle Hire.
