Pencombe war memorial
Since last photographed for Geograph the railing which used to surround this war memorial have been removed. It is November 11th and a Remembrance Day ceremony has just taken place about an hour before the picture was taken.

Pencombe's war memorial stands on a small green in the centre of the village, since previously photographed for Geograph the railings which used to surround the war memorial have been removed.

Pencombe War Memorial
Placed on the village green, this greatly-made war memorial is dedicated to both the first and second world wars. Its railings were recently removed a couple of years ago.
