Bateman Arms, Shobdon
The pub on Presteigne Road occupies an early C18th timber-framed building altered by E.H. Lingen Barker in 1884-85. He added the hipped roof, presumably the dormers and the bay window. Grade II listed.

The Bateman Arms (Shobdon)
The only yet well-known pub in Shobdon is placed by the B4362 road to Presteigne. This timber-framed building was built in the early 18th century and ltered by E.H. Lingen Barker from 1884-85.
